WOMEN'S MINISTRY
The women’s ministry of Westland is dedicated to fulfilling Christ’s mission by encouraging women with the knowledge that they belong to God and are dearly loved by Him, enabling women in becoming all they are created to be and equipping them for blessing others with the love, grace and truth of Jesus Christ.

2026 came in like a whirlwind!
WW2.0 Westland Women Connect Events is changing its name and getting a makeover!
It will now be known as 'She Gathers' Events beginning in 2026.
What is different?
What is the same?
What is the new format?
This year our events will be scheduled more frequently. Some will be hosted at Westland and others will be hosted at outside local locations.
Each event will be designed to peak the interests of our ladies and their many varied skill sets, or perhaps an interest to learn a new one.
Registration will be necessary most of the time in order to facilitate space and preparation for each lady. Yes, there will sometimes be a cost involved in participating in some of the activities.
I understand that not every event will interest everyone. That is the key. We are not all the same and yet we are one in Christ.
The events will be planned on different days and at different times of the day to enable schedules that will allow more involvement to our women's events.
The events will be less formalized. Yes, sharing God's heart and word for His ladies at Westland will always be our first and foremost desire for this ministry.
What types of events will be scheduled?
Most of the events will be inspired by the many varied interests of our ladies at Westland. Some of the suggestions that have been submitted are:
Cookie decorating, Sourdough baking, Bowling, Putt putt golf outing, Mum's and Bubs coffee morning, Movie night, Paint party (as in art, not rooms!), Learn a Line dance, Game night, and many more.
Please respond to this email if you would like to suggest any ideas of what you would like to do.
I am so excited about serving our Lord with you at Westland this year. Keep your eye out for my updates in your email.
Lastly, I have to thank all of our wonderful ladies who have had the opportunity to help in the arena's of serving, providing meals, setting up for events and of course, cleanup crews after events. I have been richly blessed by your love and support throughout serving our women of Westland. We have the best army of volunteers who step up as the opportunity arises. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

What about our Women's Conference, is it changing too?
Yes! This year our Conference is in September and is called RELENTLESS! It will be based on a worship format to praise the relentless love God has for us in Christ our Savior. It will be hosted at Westland and open to all of our ladies.

HOSPITALITY OUTREACH - HOPE IMPACTS LUNCHEONS
Our wonderful Westland family has been faithful in volunteering to provide a meal once a month for the homeless of our area that are being ministered to through Hope Impacts.
Sign up emails will be sent at the beginning of each month for you to volunteer to either help provide food items or to help serve the meal. Please advise us if you are not receiving the emailed invitation to join us each month.
