In 1984, a visionary group of people at First Baptist Church of Houston, Texas, had a dream - a dream to reach people in Katy, Texas and West Houston with the Good News of God’s love for them. Pastor Roy Meadows was called, in 1988, as the first dedicated pastor to lead this dream. Since that time we have grown from 38 people in a rented Mexican Restaurant to a church of over 400 attendees on a 16 acre campus at the Grand Parkway & Highland Knolls. Westland is a friendly church with a celebratory atmosphere. Our people are kind, our services are exciting and the messages from the Word of God are down to earth .
