Wednesday Evangelism Center at Westland – Wednesday, 5:45 pm – Please join Pastor Meadows and others in this exciting endeavor to reach our community for Christ every Wednesday.
Mission Trips - As the Expression of Christ, it is our church’s responsibility to reach out to our community and to the world in fulfilling the Great Commission. Each month men, women, youth, and children have multiple opportunities to serve locally missions.
Matthew 25: 35-40 says “35‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; 36naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ 37“Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? 38‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? 39‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40“The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’
Local Homeless Ministry for Families: Meet us every other Friday night in the Kitchen at 6:00. We will be changing the date & time to every other Saturday in October, beginning October 1st & will meet in the kitchen at 4:00. Together we will be making meals & goodie-bags filled with a Gospel Tract, travel size soaps, toothpaste, deodorant, & socks to distribute to our homeless community. If you are not able to participate in assembling bags and feeding the hungry, you may also participate by donating the items needed along as collared shirts, blankets, sandwich meat, bread, sliced cheese, and bottled water.
A Permanent Promise in feeding the hungry. A letter from our heart to yours. Permanent Promise
International Adult Missions: Together with Mission Discovery, we will be traveling to Bulembu, Swaziland. This ministry is in a life and death battle to rescue children orphaned by the AIDES pandemic that has the nation listed as the only in the world with a negative population growth. This ministry is determined to raise leaders for Swaziland who in turn will be able to bring life to this dying nation. Consider being a part of giving “bread” to someone in need on our next mission trip to Bulembu, Swaziland.
National Youth Missions: Students will learn to put their faith into action as they work on a disadvantaged resident’s home and share the love of Christ through their service. They will be challenged to adopt the a missions lifestyle when they return home. We are called to move beyond a one-week experience to a deeper level of commitment in their relationship with Jesus Christ, and we it is our responsibility to instill this in our youth and children. We team up with local missionaries of Mission Discovery and World Changers.
National Adult Missions: Together with Mission Discovery, take a trip to Cottonwood, AZ to serve with American Indians. This trip will give you a new perspective on God’s love as you take part in His plan for the Navajo Nation.
